Job Description

Due to an increase in demand, a new role has been created for a Digital Production Manager to join a very busy in-house studio within an established events and media production company, recognised as a UK Great Place to Work, based in Cheadle, Cheshire.


Supporting a wider media team, you will manage the day-to-day production of digital, primarily web-based, media projects. Managing resources, producing project estimates and schedules in conjunction with digital colleagues and ensuring production processes are adhered to particularly quality standards are the prime areas of focus for this role. With experience of working in a digital environment, ideally in a scheduling-focused role you will support Project Managers and Coordinators with delivering projects, potentially managing smaller projects independently as the role develops. As with all projects, there are often tight deadlines, so you will be well versed in juggling multiple projects.

Experience in moving digital projects along, ideally gained within an agency setting, you will be able to scope, monitor and understand digital workflows from idea stage through to quality checking and final delivery. You will live and breathe logistical challenges, keeping everything in the air with clear thinking and calm reassuring everyone its ‘in hand’. Your proactive approach will avert future challenges ensuring we have the right resource in place at all times.

Requirements

What will you be doing?

• Day to day management of digital projects through the studio

• Front of house representative for our in-house client-facing teams

• Management of internal and third-party resource according to schedules

• Internal team communication

• Project estimates, with input from the wider team as needed

• Scheduling and timeline management, including liaison with other studio departments and shifting priorities


Requirements

• Significant experience in a similar role gained within a digital environment, ideally within an agency setting

• Positive can-do attitude and ability to use initiative

• Ability to manage multiple projects and resources at a time

• Experience of quality control processes

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office suite

• Experience of project and agency management tools, ideally Synergist, beneficial

• Calm, reassuring and positive outlook
