We are looking for a dynamic individual to own the scheduling and shift forecasting of our ever-growing fleet of riders. You will be the meticulous expert of our evolving demand curve. Based on your deep knowledge of our efficiencies, you will ensure that each store always has enough riders to ensure that we can deliver an amazing customer experience while keeping our delivery costs in line.


Responsibilities

  • Work with Operations BI to develop the 1st cut of rider schedules for each store, then make adjustments based on your close-to-the-ground expertise
  • Release shift schedules on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with Location Managers to ensure that all shift schedules are filled for your designated stores and propose solutions to ensure shift coverage as needed.
  • Evaluate completed shifts on a daily basis and ensure that all rider hours worked are accounted for
  • Manage any scheduling issues that arise, for example by moving riders between hubs when needed and reporting s absences and lateness to manager + HR
  • Foster a strong relationship with riders and fulfillment staff

Requirements

  • Degree from a top university
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Proven analytical skills; attention to detail is key
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision while working remotely
  • Extremely strong interpersonal skills evidenced in previous work experience or extracurricular activities
  • Willingness to learn and ability to work proactively
  • Previous experience with shift scheduling tools is a huge plus
  • Previous experience with workforce planning fast moving high volume shift-based industry e.g. last mile, retail, hotel, restaurants, airlines etc.
