Job Description
This is a Kickstarter Scheme position (candidate must be 16-24 and on, or have applied for, Universal Credit).
These opportunities are newly created because we expect demand to resurge post-lockdown. Giving perfect time for new young hires to come in and learn.
The Role:
- We need somebody to ensure that all visitors and telephone callers to the salon are greeted professionally
- You will register new clients, check them off on our system
- You will make appointments for our clients applying your understanding of patient confidentiality amp; attention to detail
- You will ensure the entrance and reception area are always pristine and welcoming
- Give each customer a drink on arrival and seat them
- Deal with emails and enquiries
- Answer the phone in a timely manner
We are looking for someone who can work in a team and enjoys a busy, fast-paced environment
Our clients expect a good old chinwag when they come in so you must be confident and approachable. The only wallflowers in our salon are on the wall ;)
All candidates will have the opportunity to train on the job. On occasion, this may mean being thrown in at the deep end so someone who copes with pressure is a must.
We believe that everyone deserves to flaunt their own beauty, this includes multi-coloured hair, piercings and tattoos (yay!). However, this still means that you must be well presented and take pride in working in a face to face environment.
We are all about working hard and playing harder. Our prosecco fridge is always fully stocked and our nights out (when we're allowed them!) will be nothing but good vibes. Every three months will be the quarterly party where there will be bingo, raffles, free-flowing drinks, sweet treats and more.
These are held with the intention to maintain relationships with existing clients and attract new ones (and of course for our hard-working team to let their hair down).
Commission will be offered on all product sales you make, plus any courses you sell. More details will be discussed at your interview.
Full training will be provided in return for your excellent customer service amp; administration skills.
