Our goal is to revolutionise how consultants and investors access critical knowledge and help them make better informed investment decisions. Through the proSapient platform, you can interact with experts across the globe, via phone calls, meetings and surveys. Our dedicated analyst team supported by our AI driven platform can rapidly canvas the world for those special people who can provide significant insights to client’s research projects. Once those calls are complete, clients can continue the conversation via instant messaging or collect the insights and share them within their organisation creating a powerful knowledge library over time.
We're now on the lookout for our first BI Developer to join the proSapient team. Reporting into the Co-Founder, we’re looking for a Tableau expert to help drive amp; shape our data offering. This is an exciting opportunity for a Tableau fanatic who enjoys partnering with managers to help understand the power of data!
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Developing reports and Dashboards in Tableau using data from our platforms and other databases
- Manipulating data models within Tableau, consolidating all data sources and making changes amp; extra tables where needed
- Working with the external Development team, understanding amp; clarifying how tables are joined together when necessary
- Managing the Tableau server maintenance on an ad-hoc basis, in line with pre-defined principles and best practise
- Managing the curation amp; maintenance of licenses, granting appropriate licenses when needed
- Working with key stakeholders (from the Co-Founders to Operations teams and Product teams) around the business to create data that improves their decision making
- Understanding and maintaining Data integrity across all reports
- Researching and identifying data quality issues
- Documenting dashboard specs and maintaining a glossary of calculations in Notion
- Creating and conducting data training for the wider business on data definitions and reporting
Requirements
The key skills needed for this role will include:
- Excellent people skills you will be able to work with different departments and engage amp; empower individuals with relevant data
- Outstanding communication skills you will be able to understand individual needs amp; discuss data in an engaging and creative way
- Exceptional multi-tasking skills you will be able to juggle numerous reports amp; requirements at any time
The key experience needed for this role includes:
- Previous experience (a minimum of two years) working as an Analyst, with Tableau as your main system
- Solid understanding of Data Visualization and how to communicate data to a non-technical audience
- Previous experience working with complex data tables and distilling these into clear and actionable insight
- Previous experience developing technical design documents to describe and support justification of the chosen reporting architecture and proposed implementation
- Ability to build advanced SQL queries
