About the Role

The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation and execution of a best in class content strategy and omni-channel marketing activations to drive brand awareness, organic revenue and brand identity for our THG Brands Skincare Category. This is an amazing opportunity for a self-motivated, driven and enthusiastic individual who has a passion for both beauty and creating content. The role is based in our Manchester HQ.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development

• Plan, build and execute a sustainable and global strategy for content to drive brand awareness and ensure future growth of three skincare brands.

• Working collaboratively with SEO, brand, social amp; influencer, design, CRM/email and digital marketing teams to bring the overall skincare category strategy to life.

• Create and deliver the monthly Content Calendar for three brands planning campaign amp; blog activity to coincide with major launches/trends/popular search terms etc.

• Lead and support skincare training team along with social/influencer teams as they continue to develop new channels for the brands such and Pinterest, YouTube amp; Podcasts while helping to brainstorm and create engaging new content pieces to be featured in these channels.

Content Creation

• Work closely with brand teams to create and execute the product marketing calendar aligning content, campaign, social channel output with wider NPD campaigns.

• Support, develop and directly manage x1 content executive, ensuring delivery of 2-3 blog pieces per week for each brand.

• Support, develop and directly manage x1 content apprentice, ensuring delivery of 2-3 emails per week for CRM database and work closely with the CRM team to constantly evolve and react to trends.

•Delivering brand storytelling to create campaigns that are familiar, spark emotion and consistency. Using this strategy to work alongside social, influencer and PR teams to support where needed.

• Work with the PR amp; brand training teams to ensure there is a variety of ‘guest posts’ with brands, ambassadors and bloggers. Build and maintain these relationships with bloggers, brands and ambassadors.

• Deliver on site content for new product launches, such as but not limited to product descriptions, landing pages and headline copy creation.

• Managing global translations process with our in-house translation agency, seeing through to execution.

• Manage all brief cycles for content for the brands beginning to end, ensuring all is aligned with the wider brand strategy and deployed across digital marketing teams.

Reporting on Performance

• Provide formal weekly reporting on skincare category to showcase brand performance and project updates.

• Understand how to use various data tools to interpret data to improve organic performance, such as Google Analytics, Keyword Planner, Trends and Linkdex.
