Job Description

The role of the Governance Department in Doctorlink is to ensure effective corporate governance of the organisation operating in the Healthcare space and; the Quality Management System, Products and contracted services meet the requirements of Medical Device Regulations, International Standards, and as a global operator that regional requirements are met for safe, effective and commercially viable offerings.

The Quality Officer will work within the Doctorlink Governance Team, reporting to the Director of Governance, providing general support to the organisation on all aspects of Quality, Compliance amp; Governance and acting as a Business Partner for the relevant Department/Business Area.

The Quality Officer will be a reference point to the organisation and a champion of our Quality and improvement culture, for all areas of organisational and product governance and the subject matter expert in their specialist area.

The postholder will be required to exercise discretion, initiative, pragmatism, independent judgement and decision making and have the ability to deliver a high-quality service at all times.

Althought we don't mind where you are based, there will be a requirement to be in our Beaconsfield office on occasions.

Requirements

The Quality Officer (Sales, Implementation amp; Customer Support) will partner with the business and act as a first point of contact for product sales, implementation, customer liaison and feedback cycle; using their judgement and experience when liaising with key stakeholders and to escalate complex queries or issues to colleagues the Director of Governance and Clinical Safety Officer as required.

  • Lead support and liaison with teams and stakeholders in the specialist area of Sales, Implementation amp; Customer Support
  • Ensuring effective systems and processes for proactive implementation and post market surveillance of the Doctorlink Products
  • First point of escalation for feedback and management of user and customer experience
  • Ensuring appropriate recording of issues, incidents and complaints received, ensuring all actions taken in response are recorded and incidents are closed and reported on according to agreed processes and timescales
  • Coordination of reported Quality and Safety Issues, supporting the Director of Governance and Clinical Safety Officer in the appropriate escalation and reporting to relevant stakeholders including MHRA
  • Contract compliance monitoring, incident, near miss and serious incident investigation, contract compliance and quality reporting, bid response development and oversight
  • Quality and auditing of key systems in the specialist area including Salesforce, Helpdesk,
  • Ensure appropriate and effective documentation of systems and processes within the specialist area including training and support materials
  • Compile and QA documentation to support business development, including drafting and coordinating bid responses for Quality and Governance, producing reports for due diligence activities of existing and future customers and procurement partners
  • Ensure the Doctorlink website and other Media channels are kept up to date with relevant, accurate content
  • Act as Committee Secretary for their nominated Committee, and provide administrative support to other relevant Governance Committees and meetings where required


Skills amp; experience required:

  • Knowledge and experience of quality management and governance, ideally within healthcare
  • Previous experience of investigative activities, able to gather and assimilate information quickly and effectively
  • Ability to write and contribute to complex documents and reports
  • Understanding of audit and its application in practice
  • Working knowledge of healthcare regulation, standards and guidelines
  • Educated to degree level or equivalen
