Requirements

The primary duty of a pricing analyst is supporting the Head of Product Pricing Strategy with BAU and tactical pricing analysis, assessing data from a variety of sources and using it to derive insights into pricing strategies, packaging (bundles, discount tiering etc.) and market trends.

The role reports to the Pricing Function within the Product Operations Office but has a cross-functional responsibility, working with Sales, Sales Ops, Deal Deak, Partner Organizations and Product Marketing in order to support effective pricing analysis.

What you will do:

  • Manage pricing request pipeline, assist in BAU and tactical pricing analysis and dashboard
  • Assess data from a variety of sources and use it to derive insights into pricing strategies and market trends. Present findings to key stakeholders
  • Use statistical modelling methods to prepare reports that show the potential impact of various pricing strategies, including their effect on margins and costs and how they will impact profitability and sales volume
  • Stay abreast of market trends within our industry and assist in competitor pricing analysis on similar products and services. Identify opportunities based on market trends and industry condition
  • Help in developing pricing model and maintain the central pricing book
  • Facilitate the Product Pricing Council meeting process which is a forum for key pricing strategy decision making and has all the C level executives sit in on

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in a pricing or analytical role. Economics, Business, Mathematics or Statistic degree background is preferred

Strong mathematical and modelling skills, to derive insights from multiple data sources and utilize them to develop models and provide advice to decision-makers

  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SQL and other analytical tools
  • Business acumen the ability to think like a buyer or customer to understand the impact that pricing has on purchasing and retention decisions; and the ability to understand the revenue impact to Blue Prism as part of a product portfolio approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, to present findings through reports and presentations
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to a continuously changing environment that is fluid due to the start-up ethos of Blue Prism
  • Self-starter who can drive and prioritise their own work, and the work of others, to deliver against a clear set of agreed objectives
  • Willing to learn through experimentation, whilst delivering incremental and tangible value continuously in a sustainable manner
  • Collaborative worker committed to sharing knowledge and skills, who is willing to take ownership and accountability for their work and acts with integrity, acknowledging mistakes and celebrating successes in an open and honest way to build long and lasting relationships
