Requirements

PRODUCT PERFORMANCE:

  • Support and assist the Buyer in the development of the seasonal product ranges specific to the host stores, customer demographics and Kurt Geiger strategies
  • Be aware of market movements, competitor activity amp; current and forthcoming fashion trends
  • Actively research and propose new brand and product opportunities to optimise brand strength and potentialise sales performance
  • Creation of end of season buy packs
  • Create reports for the buyer and company management as requested, and review with Buyer and Merchandise team, proposing key actions to drive sales and mitigate risk


MANAGERIAL SUPPORT

  • Attend to the buyers administration, monitor and respond to correspondence where appropriate particularly in the absence of the buyer
  • Work alongside the Buyer and Merchandise Team in the preparation of seasonal reviews and strategic seasonal planning
  • Produce detailed pictorial look book for each store bi-annually, ensuring it is delivered in good time for the start of the relevant season
  • Plan and execute brand awareness workshops for stores each season, in conjunction for look books
  • Undertake special projects given by the buyer following up with the tams that may require involvement eg VM, marking or press

GENERAL

  • Maintain consistent correspondence with brand accounts relating to orders, deliveries and/or payment issues
  • Ownership of and ensuring the smooth running of the full back office and admin process, liaising across divisions as required
  • Accountability and management of range plans, ensuring accuracy and the close monitoring of spends and margins
  • To manage a comprehensive and accurate delivery schedule, that meets and supports the needs of the business and where appropriate deal with any late deliveries either by cancellation or achieving suitable discounts.
  • Liaise with the Ecommerce Team to improve and maximise offer on site, provide feedback on missing product, image quality, copywriting, ranking etc
  • Ensure any product related changes are communicated to relevant teams across Retail, Digital, Retail Ops, Marketing etc
  • Liaise with Warehouse and Finance teams to promptly resolve any arising issues or queries

  • Educated to degree level
  • Passionate about fashion and an expert on upcoming trends
  • Personable, confident and self-motivated
  • Previous experience Line Managing an Admin Assistant
  • Excellent attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • A 'can-do' attitude and ability to show initiative
  • Commercial aptitude
  • The ability to work under pressure amp; thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong negotiation amp; communication skills
  • Manage your time to ensure key deadlines are achieved
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties to support the Buying team
