Job Description

The Role:

To support the implementation of an innovative Learning, Development, and Inclusion strategy for all areas of the business to achieve our commitment to creating a magical workplace for our Dream Teams. Working in partnership with our Global Head of Learning, Development and Inclusion to deliver the group strategy and annual plan with key metrics to support our vision amp; purpose.


Role Accountabilities:

  • Support and develop the creation of the global learning and development strategy including the design and implementation of a new Performance and LMS
  • Manage all admin and training uploads to our LMS and communicate accordingly
  • Manage and co-ordinate events planning and communications linked to Learning and Inclusion
  • Design, implement and lead in the delivery of all head office new starter inductions
  • Produce and roll out innovative course content; building robust feedback and evaluation mechanisms to summarise learning outcomes to support our Development Framework
  • Facilitate and deliver inspiring in- house training sessions, ensuring content is fit for purpose and delivered in an engaging way to all learner
  • Proactively source external training providers as required, developing and maintaining effective relationships to ensure all external training is in line with company culture.
  • Provide expert Lamp;D advice to all business stakeholders
  • Support line managers to ensure all head office employees have a personal development plan in place
  • Support the business in building a ‘coaching culture’; supporting line managers through the execution of targeted training, informal coaching and ongoing feedback
  • Work closely with the Heads of Department, the People team and the Retail Education team with succession planning; encouraging internal talent development and retention wherever possible
  • Conduct regular people reviews with key stakeholders, identifying concerns and ensuring clear objectives are put in place to drive improvement
  • Ensure all training tools, templates and resources are innovative; working with the Education Content team to continually review and amend them
  • Draft internal Comms and engagement plans connected to initiatives against our calendar of activity and development framework
  • Review and monitor Inclusion programmes across our strategic pillars, analytics to understand and track Damp;I performance in our organisation, including compiling data for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate Learning amp; Inclusion meetings, and programme activity supporting strategic collaboration between departments and leadership teams across Charlotte Tilbury, sharing insights and knowledge on projects and initiatives
  • Influence and build internal relationships to collaborate and drive plans
  • Review organisational data and needs analysis to propose, create and review existing Damp;I policies, practices and initiatives
  • Coach and upskill managers and employees on learning and development opportunities and access to learning
  • Engage with diversity and inclusion forum and education team to harness the power of the collective, involve them in activity and reviews and build trust and confidence in our Diversity amp; Inclusion and Learning Strategy.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in building and implementing a learning and development plans to deliver growth with measurable impact
  • Innovative approach to training methodology
  • Proven experience in partnering with external training providers on senior leadership training
  • Ability to complete full training cycle (assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
  • Good knowledge of equality legislation, guidelines and best practice as well as an understanding of the potential impacts of discrimination and prejudice on employee experience, engagement and organisational effectiveness
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead a cross-functional group, ability to inspire coalitions, earn trust, and build consensus amongst a range of stakeholders
  • Impactful communication and presentation skills
  • Advanced organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, deadlines and priorities; ability to create structure and process, whilst working within ambiguity and at pace
  • Independent, pro-active and self-starter approach
  • Demonstrated experience of developing, managing and evaluating learning, equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Experience working within Beauty / Premium Retail highly advantageous
  • MS Office proficiency
  • Excellent English written, verbal and copywriting skills
