We bring together a modern edit of over 450 established and new generation designers. Founded over 30 years ago as a brick and mortar store, we transitioned online in 2012. In 2017, APAX Partners acquired a majority stake in MATCHESFASHION.COM, fuelling our expansion. We now ship to 176 countries, have over 70 million site visits and 95% of our sales are online with the majority of sales made internationally.
We have a global website, mobile apps, retail stores, private shopping, VIP events and 24/7 customer care and MyStylist teams. We have offices in the UK and Hong Kong. ROLE:
Reporting into the Post Production Manager, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Editor to join the Video team in our e-commerce studio. You will be responsible for ensuring all MATCHESFASHION model videos are shot, edited and uploaded in line with video guidelines and shoot deadlines. Alongside the other Video Editors, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct content is being captured for the editing team to work with, working on a rotational basis capturing videos on set. You will also be responsible for the development of video and seasonal video content, in collaboration with with the Art Director, Post Production Manager and Photography Manager.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of luxury online retail, experience in editing videos across a variety of luxury product categories, including ready to wear and fine jewellery. You should have previous video editor experience at a junior or mid-weight level, be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of video production, and retain an active interest in key developments within the photography and videography industry. You should also have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a commercial mind-set.
