ROLE:
Reporting into the Post Production Manager, we are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Video Editor to join the Video team in our e-commerce studio. You will be responsible for ensuring all MATCHESFASHION model videos are shot, edited and uploaded in line with video guidelines and shoot deadlines. Alongside the other Video Editors, you will be responsible for ensuring the correct content is being captured for the editing team to work with, working on a rotational basis capturing videos on set. You will also be responsible for the development of video and seasonal video content, in collaboration with with the Art Director, Post Production Manager and Photography Manager.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of luxury online retail, experience in editing videos across a variety of luxury product categories, including ready to wear and fine jewellery. You should have previous video editor experience at a junior or mid-weight level, be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of video production, and retain an active interest in key developments within the photography and videography industry. You should also have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to demonstrate a commercial mind-set.
DAY TO DAY
- Edit and upload model videos in Premier Pro
- Capture model videos on set
- Colour matching videos to products
- Supporting the upload on all video content, ensuring the daily upload deadlines are met
- Working on supporting Adhoc business requests
- Working closely with photography to ensure a seamless workflow between photography and video sets
- Working closely with Post Production team to ensure consistency and accuracy in colour and details for each product across all media
- Help support with the safely and upkeep of all video equipment and staying up to date with technical developments and industry standards
Requirements
- Expert working knowledge of Premier Pro and Mac computers.
- Experience operating photographic equipment in a busy studio environment ideal.
- The ability to solve technical issues on the fly.
- A natural ability to motivate others to achieve targets set.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to adapt and evolve with change and growth of a team.
