With an explosion in home fitness and over a decade of elite level and commercial fitness success under its belt, Wattbike is embarking on expansion programmes for it’s Direct to Consumer Business both in the UK and in overseas markets, as we take our hardware and digital training philosophy to the health and fitness masses.
Our product is truly market leading and is already used by the biggest names in professional sport and thousands of everyday athletes around the world and this new role will make a huge contribution in driving Wattbikes growth whilst significantly improving efficiency.
The Role
Reporting into the Operations Director, we need an experienced leader in managing cross-functional teams to support and drive the Samp;OP process. This role will lead in planning Wattbike’s global supply chain for finished goods, accessories and spares both at the finished goods and 2nd tier level. You will also be responsible for managing the ordering, expediting and logistics processes to ensure on time in full execution of the plan.
You will be responsible for
- To own and significantly improve Wattbike’s Sales and Operations Planning process to ensure demand plans, supply plans and desired inventory levels are all synchronised. This applies to all finished goods, accessories and spare parts
- Supporting and ensuring the successful implementation of Wattbike’s Microsoft Dynamics system through phase 1 implementation and beyond
- Managing the purchasing process in line with the agreed Samp;OP plans
- Leading the inbound logistics processes to the highest levels in terms of cost, quality and timeliness
- Delivering all products on time in full
- Establishing and use KPIs to manage continuous performance improvement
- Building and leading the team
- Working at a senior cross functional level, especially with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Product to facilitate the Samp;OP process
Requirements
What we are looking for from you
- Experience in leading the Samp;OP process in a fast growing, consumer goods business with both B2C and B2B sales channels
- Experience in leading high level cross functional teams to support the Samp;OP process
- Highly skilled in process management, project management and problem solving
- A skilled leader experienced in building new teams
- Strong prioritisation skills
