Reporting directly to inMusic’s European Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the UK Finance team and the production of consolidated monthly management accounts. With a firm focus on effective financial controls and timely reporting, the successful candidate will be a key part of inMusic’s management team and actively contribute to the enhancement of inMusic’s core business.

Requirements

  • Day to day management for the Finance team.
  • Manage 3rd party accounting services for European subsidiary.
  • Ensure all statutory, HMRC and other accounting requirements are adhered to in full.
  • Full ownership of period end ledger review, journal entries and reconciliations.
  • Compile month end reporting pack and consolidation for senior management / group.
  • Oversee cash forecasting and controls.
  • Internal management and oversight of the annual audit.
  • Continuous development of best practice.
  • Support ERP and other projects or improvement plans as required.
  • Manage, report on, and develop KPI’s for the team and wider business.

    Skills and Experience

    • Significant experience across the full breadth of accounting activities.
    • Demonstrable leadership and team management ability.
    • Solid IT skills, including advanced Excel skills and ERP knowledge.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • The ability to work independently and under pressure, within tight deadlines.
    • Punctual, professional, and highly organised.
    • Ability to resolve issues and overcome objections efficiently and diplomatically.
