The opportunity

Although we’re proud of our 20 year history, we’re even more excited about the future! There is a real drive on CxO agendas for AI technology and investing in the right solution to continue growing their business.

We’re looking to hire an Area VP Sales UK/I, you'll be responsible for achieving our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You will help shape the success of the company in your vertical reporting to our RVP Sales Northern Europe.

What you'll be doing

  • Define and implement sales strategies across your vertical
  • Manage the sales cycle from the conversion of meetings into opportunities to securing a deal on the long term.
  • Recruit and retain a successful and driven sales team around you
  • Report on weekly and monthly sales forecasts, driving forecast accuracy and pipeline tracking within the team
  • Provide ongoing support and training to your team
  • Maintain high level of industry knowledge, best practices and developments within our target markets
  • Build and maintain highly collaborative relationships with internal teams, fostering an environment of striving to achieve company goals.

What you'll we need to be successful

  • 5+ years' experience working in a new business Sales Leadership position, covering full sales cycles.
  • Experience as Sales Manager.
  • Excellent and consistent sales track record, preferably within business software solutions (SaaS).
  • Consistent track record of new business enterprise sales achievement throughout sales career.
  • Passion for entrepreneurship, customer value driven and the desire to build something new.
  • Experience in execution of defined and repeatable sales strategies and methodologies.
  • Ability to sell into CxO.
  • Self-starter with passion for driving growth.
  • Ability to build a strong new business sales team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.

Your Team

The Sidetrade sales team is a group of experienced Regional Sales Managers who are all passionate about technology and, above all else, our customers. We are committed and excited to bring our software technology to our customers across the globe and changing they work. We ensure each team member receives the sales training, coaching, tools, and mentorship they need to grow and be successful. You will have the assistance and support of our marketing team and Business Development to help build your sales funnel.

In your new role- within 90 days, you will have:

  • Attended the Sidetrade New Hire Bootcamp, where you will learn our company mission, vision story and understand what makes Sidetrade unique.
  • Joined our Sales Academy where you will learn our software technology and get all the skills necessary to set you up for success, allowing you to make an impact in the market quickly.
  • Full alignment with your manager to key objectives and sales targets.
  • Met amp; shadowed current members of the Sidetrade sales team.
  • Developed an action plan to achieve your goals.

Within 12 months, you will need to be:

  • An expert in Sidetrade’s Solutions, feeling comfortable in closing deals.
  • Considered as one of the top-performers on the team by consistently exceeding your goals.
