About the role
Yoga Mapp is recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive to play a crucial role in developing this startup, launched during lockdown in August 2020, during the next stage of its exciting journey.
As Digital Marketing Executive, you’ll be an ambitious self-starter with previous experience in a digital marketing role and will be able to demonstrate your creative flair and technical expertise through work experience or projects you have personally developed. In return, we’ll offer flexible working hours, working remotely and the opportunity to practice yoga amp; wellness regularly to immerse yourself in this fascinating and growing industry. Our Founder and former city headhunter and in-house Head of Recruitment, Shruti Srivastava, will also personally offer you career coaching, weekly mentoring and the opportunity to work on innovative projects that will help you to develop your business and commercial skills, so that you can enjoy success professionally and personally.
This varied and busy role at Yoga Mapp would suit a yoga or holistic wellness champion who is looking to combine their love of yoga, movement, health and wellness, with web development, creative online marketing, business marketing, technology and the development of new technologies.
Roles and Responsibilities
Website Development
- Updating all content on platform including images and draft copy
- Creating new Teacher profiles for live site
- Updating teacher schedules on the booking platform; add, edit and cancel classes as appropriate
- Creating class packs, gift vouchers and issuing coupons
- Creating first draft of blogs and adding content
- Editing photographs to use on website
- SEO improvements
- Leading on any process improvements
- Developing new pages, e.g. Shop, Podcast
- General website maintenance
- Collate content for platform, including photographs, draft copy
- Dealing with any technical issues relating to the website
- Troubleshoot and manage student and teacher relations in the event of cancellations
Marketing amp; Social Media:
- Expertly use Facebook and Instagram, including creating content, e.g. schedules and industry news as well as managing ad campaigns
- Reporting on Google Analytics, to track trends to inform Marketing strategy
- Customer acquisition time to acquire and cost of acquisition research and recommendations
- Improve SEO to ensure optimum visibility
- Content creation and technical support, including video, e.g. YouTube, audio and visual for socials
- Newsletter campaign creation
- Market research relating to the latest trends within the yoga, meditation, holistic health and wellness industry online and offline to help inform business direction and strategy
Operational
- Management of software to ensure optimal operational performance of startup
- Troubleshooting with Teachers with regards to the technical functioning of their profiles and schedule
- Respond to student enquiries received through email, Instagram, Facebook and other social media
- Update systems, cloud based applications and other working documents
PR
- Work with Founder and PR agency to support PR strategy to build Yoga Mapp’s brand, in line with the health and well-being calendar, key business and industry events and milestones
