Salary - 18k to 22k depending on experience
Full Time - 39 hours per week
CVM World is a rapidly growing family-run 2nd stage motor-vehicle manufacturer converting vans to minibuses and selling high quality used vehicles. We are a Peugeot Motor Company approved convertor and our customers include the Education, Care, Charity and Voluntary sectors.
We specialise in converting Peugeot Boxer panel vans into minibuses, some of which are fully accessible with either on-board or underfloor lifts and electric steps. However, we build on all vehicles, including high quality used vans. It is an exciting time to join the company as recently we have recently expanded into the rapidly growing campervan and welfare van market. We are also in the process of launching our own customised version of the Ford Ranger.
We require a bright and ambitious Trainee Business Development Executive to join our busy sales department. You will work alongside and support our existing team through a very busy period of sales and growth. We will provide a structured training programme that will allow you to develop a thorough understanding of all aspects of the business and the sound technical knowledge that is required to become a successful business development executive.
The successful candidate will be gregarious and resourceful with the curiosity needed to develop specialist product knowledge. You will have strong administrative skills and be eager to learn new skills. You must have the ability to manage your time effectively, work well as part of team and understand the importance of being customer-focussed.
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the sales team with day-to-day activities
- Creating strong working relationships with customers
- Maintaining accurate knowledge and understanding of customers and their requirements
- Proactively managing customer accounts
- Preparing and providing quotes
- Identifying referral, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Highly motivated with a desire for development and progression
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the confidence to establish strong relationships with new and existing customers
- An ability to retain technical information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good IT skills including the ability to learn new systems. Experience of databases is an advantage but not an essential requirement as full training will be provided.
