Job Description
CVM World Ltd is a rapidly growing family-run 2nd stage motor-vehicle manufacturer converting vans to welfare vehicles, campervans and minibuses as well as selling high quality used vehicles. We are a Peugeot Motor Company approved converter and our customers include the Construction, Education, Care, Charity and Voluntary sectors.
We specialise in converting Peugeot Boxer and Ford Transit panel vans; however, we build on all vehicles, including high quality used vans. It is an exciting time to join the company as recently we have recently rebranded and added other products to our range
We are looking for someone with at least 3 years’ experience building welfare vehicles and/or campervans to work alongside our experienced van conversion team in our factory in Knypersley, Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will be confident building a vehicle from start to finish, including the installation of all plumbing and electrics. Candidates must be able to work using their own initiative and have good communication skills. You’ll work in a clean and safe manner, adhering to health and safety procedures.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to produce a high level of workmanship both as a team member and an individual. You would be required to carry out a range of different duties and tasks so experience is essential in some of the following areas:
- Internal panelling
- Window installation and trimming
- 240v and 12v electrics (including the installation of inverters and solar panels)
- 8mm gas installation
- All plumbing including water heaters, toilets and sinks/showers
- Cabinet making/carpentry
- Pop-top roof installations
Salary Negotiable depending on experience
Full-Time - (39 hours per week), Monday Friday (Monday Thursday 8.00 4.30 pm and Friday 8.00 1.00)
Our premises are located in Knypersley, Stoke-on-Trent and will be ideal for candidates located in Congleton, Biddulph, Chell, Brown Edge, Endon, Tunstall, Newcastle under Lyme, Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas.
