The Role
Day Shift (4/4)
We are keen to invite applications from enthusiastic and reliable individuals, capable of working effectively and efficiently in a busy, team driven environment.
Reporting to the Cell Leader, you will be working within a team inside the factory assisting with manufacturing, operating machinery, overseeing the stock control and line traceability and ensuring all workers are following Health amp; Safety, Food Safety and Company procedures, packaging, and other steps along the production. Working across our factories, you will carry out a variety of related duties that will include:
- Operation and safe handling of Forklift truck amp; MHE equipment
- Before use inspection (BUI) of MHE equipment and completion of relevant paperwork
- Following equipment charging regime
- Tipper spill point management
- LOT usage control
- ALPAL recovery management
- Bin tippers filled in line with daily usage plan
- Area control working to maintain zero damage amp; clean, safe working environment
- Complete amp; maintain accurate records
- Report/discuss safety hazards with the Supervisors for remedial action.
You will be a pivotal team member, working to ensure that our customer standards are maintained at all times, along with a safe clean, working environment. You will be required to follow set procedures and work at a fast pace, so good communication skills are essential. Equally, you will be responsible for reporting any issues regarding raw materials, MHE, process control or accidents and dangerous occurrences.
