Behind every successful rocketship mission is a great mission support team on the ground. We are looking for a sharp, meticulous, fast thinking individual who will support our riders while on the road, to help them overcome live obstacles so that they can get to the customer on time, every time, with a smile, 24/7.

Please note, this role will be based remotely (from France or the UK). Zapp will provide you with the necessary hardware and software at home to carry out this role. Also, because Zapp runs a 24/7 operation, this role requires willingness to work night shifts, weekends and bank holidays.


Responsibilities

  • Align with store teams to ensure that riders are situated at the correct store as per agreed schedules
  • Support riders to execute correct app processes so that the business gets the most accurate order-level data
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to help riders navigate accurately to a (sometimes tricky) customer address, at pace, when needed
  • Based on the above, capture intel on how best to access that tricky address, so that the next rider for that same address has the intel from the get go, making for a quicker smoother journey
  • In times of rider shortage, coordinate with store teams to share riders and/or dispatch orders to next nearest store
  • Report on reasons for orders that do not miss SLAs, so as to provide intel for Last Mile and other teams to identify, initiate and execute constant process improvements

Requirements

  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to think quickly and make solid judgement calls under time pressure
  • Clear communication style on the phone and in writing in French and English
  • Willingness to work night, weekend and bank holiday shifts
  • Access to a quiet room to carry out the role remotely, e.g. at home
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Familiarity with order dispatching and customer service software is preferred
  • Technical support experience is preferred
  • Rider experience is a bonus but not required
