Role: Corporate amp; Business Development Operations Manager

MAIN PURPOSE:

  • The Camp;BD Operations Manager is responsible for improving the efficiency and quality of the processes and systems supporting Camp;BD in order to help Norgine make faster and better quality investment decisions on new Business Development opportunities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES amp; ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • A highly collaborative role involving proactive partnering with Camp;BD colleagues to develop a solid understanding of the drivers of the business, and the processes and systems that support it.
    • Agree requirements for improvements to processes and systems.
    • Responsible for implementing these into scalable solutions which effectively and efficiently satisfy the business needs, e.g. improved decision-making processes, tools and systems.
  • A strong belief in continuous improvement and ability to sustain progress in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
  • Key areas of responsibility include:-

KPIs and reporting

  • Management and continuous improvement of the Camp;BD overall dashboard, KPIs, evaluations and deal tracking (including how to visualise and report key metrics and performance indicators).
  • Work with the broader KPI reporting team, as required, to support data input and standardisation.
  • This position will support the delivery of analytics, reports, and support for the Camp;BD strategy. These results will help support achievement of our business objectives and support planning and decisionmaking by the Camp;BD Leadership Team.
  • Work with Camp;BD team members to continuously improve quality and consistency of reporting and analysis.
  • Work closely with the Senior Director, Corporate Development on monthly and quarterly reviews.

Camp;BD Systems

  • Develop, administer and maintain the technology platforms including but not limited to SharePoint (e.g. Camp;BD Hub, Integration sites) and Microsoft Teams
  • Successfully rollout newly developed capabilities from start to finish. Support end-users through informal hands-on usage training and educate users on best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs. Partner with IT and other key stakeholders to support delivery of agreed requirements.


Camp;BD processes amp; Templates

  • Partner with all Camp;BD members / process owners to support and implement improvement of processes across Camp;BD.
  • Develop repeatable processes and templates that are flexible enough to be tailored to specifics of individual opportunities.
  • Feedback standard methodologies / templates across the group.
  • Maintain policies, process maps and procedures for Camp;BD.
  • Project management of certain Camp;BD processes to support the function e.g. the annual objective setting process.


Knowledge Management

  • Development and management of Camp;BD Knowledge Management Systems.
  • Responsible for the integrity and quality of data and information stored and flowing between business applications.
  • Work with Communications team on the maintenance of Camp;BD partnering activity and market coverage.


Data management / archivist

  • Support teams needing to build and maintain dataset or models for analysis of opportunities.
  • Support Due Diligence teams with data room provider management / templates.
  • Data management / archivist support for Integrations inc. development of exper
