We acquired Little Baby Bum in 2018, closely followed by My Magic Pet Morphle. ARPO was acquired in 2019 and CoComelon and Blippi the following year. Moonbug now has 18 individual IPs with over 500 hours content in 26 languages. We distribute on over 100 platforms worldwide including Amazon, Netflix and YouTube.
Our brand partnerships business continues to expand; it currently includes Mattel, Inc., Nickelodeon, Procter amp; Gamble and LEGO. Moonbug Consumer Products brings the company’s stories and characters to life through engaging physical and digital products across hardlines, softlines, FMCG and publishing. Consumer Products is a global business with teams in London, LA and Seoul.
Moonbug currently operates with employees based in London and LA together with partners, agents and representatives in other territories.
We are looking for a full time Production Assistant to join the growing production team in London, available to start immediately. They will provide assistance on the production of animated series across several projects and brands. We are looking for someone with previous experience in series production, who is looking to develop within this industry.
The role will be focused on assisting the production team. You will be asked to help with a variety of tasks as needed on a day-to-day basis, including research, admin, file management, and assisting with pre-production and production processes, as well as small video and visual editing tasks. It is crucial that you are highly organised and able to work independently, so good time management and prioritisation will be expected. Being part of a growing company, any number of extra skills to bring to the role, such as fluency in a second language or a visual artist skillset will be highly valued, although this is not a requirement for the role.
The candidate will be a committed and hardworking individual, who is very adaptable and willing to jump across various tasks simultaneously throughout the day. We’re looking for someone who has a keen interest as well as experience in the production process and is willing to learn and progress with the team with the intention of eventually taking on more responsibility and growing with the company into the future.
The role will be office-based usually, although at this time we are working remotely due to Covid-19.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a junior production.
- Proficiency in Adobe products - particularly Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects is a plus.
