Sitting in our newly-formed Underwriting team, you will have a key role in shaping our underwriting strategy and processes within our fast-growing fleet business. You will be responsible for helping to grow our fleet business sustainably, and help to grow our Underwriting function from the ground up.

• You will develop strong stakeholder relationships with Sales, Pricing and Operations to ensure we onboard risks at the right price, with the right controls
• You will build key connections with our insurance capacity providers, in order to negotiate underwriting and pricing criteria /process, and win business
• You will conduct underwriting analysis on all Fleet business pre-launch, and at renewal
• You will work with the wider Underwriting team to implement new underwriting criteria, and suggest changes to existing criteria, checks and controls
• You will work with Operations Manager- Underwriting to ensure that all UW processes, and fleets, are compliant within our delegated authority

Essential

• 2+years of experience in UK motor underwriting, with significant experience in commercial fleet
• Commercial mindset
• Excellent stakeholder management and experience managing external stakeholders
• Knowledge of UK motor insurance market
• Experience and comfort in data analysis

Desirable

• Experience in a fast-moving, fast-growing company
• Knowledge of EU motor insurance market
