We’re Wonderbly, the Children’s Publisher of the Year. We make the world’s finest personalised books, and have so far delighted over 6 million children with our unique stories.
At Wonderbly, we do things differently. We conceive, write, illustrate, design and engineer all of our books in house. It’s a collaborative process involving creatives, producers, software engineers, and a whole lot of other people. Innovation is at the heart of everything we do, and we never stop thinking of new ways to create never-seen-before stories which will make children gasp in wonder.
Requirements
Because we do things in house, we’re always on the lookout for exceptional talent. We always want to meet non-traditional storytellers, who are happy to take a different approach to narrative design. The building blocks of our stories are personalised data - names, dates of birth, likes and dislikes, addresses, appearance - and we use these starting points to design innovative, delightful, magical narratives which are unique to every child.
You might have a background in games design. Or immersive theatre. You might be a specialist in meta-fiction, or experimental film. You might have a traditional writing background, but really want to try something new. The only things you must have is a love of children’s literature, some experience in a relevant field, and an open mind.
