Assistant Audio Content Writer/Editor
Location: Based in the UK, remote working.
Annual Salary: 20,000 - 24,000 pro-rata(dependent on experience)
Contract: 12 months, fixed-term contract

You will be joining our expanding and growing team to contribute to our mission to help those who teach. As an Assistant Audio Content Writer and Editor, you will work with other audio professionals, videographers, illustrators and more to create unique and engaging content to inspire young learners.

Ongoing projects/how you’ll spend your day:
You will meet with other audio content writers and creatives for ideation sessions to plan new sound content for the YouTube channel.
You will be asked to make audio assets for different projects. This can include songs, SFX, vocal recordings, jingles, sound design, background music and much more.
You will be trained on how to upload audio content to our site and how best to collaborate with other team members.
Some of your time may be spent on new projects that arise working with other teams or Twinkl Partners.

In this role, you will learn:
How to write, produce and upload audio content for the Twinkl Kids TV team.
You will play a part in shaping this brand-new, exciting team. You will have the opportunity to get involved with different projects and directions as this new team evolves.
You will gain insight into other areas of production, from design to videography and SEO.

You will be an Assistant Audio Content Writer and Editor working closely with the Parents Team but creating content for all those who teach. The Parents Team is made up of a fun and friendly bunch of designers, illustrators, SEO copywriters, teachers and marketing assistants who are all working together with a drive to help parents. The Audio Content team is a new and exciting area of the Parents team and you have the chance to be one of the first creatives to help those who teach. If you share this same love and passion, we would love to hear from you!

Requirements
We're interested in anyone who meets one, or a combination of the following:
- A relevant degree in music production is preferred but not essential.
- A personal recording set-up including at least the following: computer, audio interface, microphone and access to a DAW, preferably one or more of Ableton Live, Logic or Pro Tools.
- Experience in producing and mixing audio to a professional standard.
- You must have a good vocal range, and have evidence of your singer/songwriting abilities.
