This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, commercially astute, forward thinking Security Manager to join the group and play a part in driving their area forward on its truly exciting journey. The successful candidate will be creative and innovative in their approach throughout their area of responsibility, to ensure our colleagues, guests and visitors feel secure and company assets are protected and all opportunities are explored to minimise identified internal or external elements of threat to the business.

Responsibilities:
- The day to day oversight of the physical security teams at THG experience sites
- Building strong evolving relationships with senior operational management and key players of the senior security team
- Ensure operating policy and procedures are current and are in line with operational requirements across the portfolio
- Working with internal partners to ensure colleagues are suitably trained to complete all required duties and training requirements are regularly reviewed and recorded
- Working closely with key department managers and senior Security Management to develop, plan and execute a security plan for events across the portfolio, including the handling of VIP guests
- Work Collaboratory with key personnel to identify areas of loss across sites and robustly implement plans to mitigate the risk and increase profitability and drive efficiency throughout
- Actively manage the response to critical incidents and liaise with senior security management and external partners
- Ensure minimum investigation standards are adhered to and reporting is consistent in line with operational requirements
- Design and deliver a robust security plan to ensure critical sites are resourced at key times to meet operational demand
- Complete timely and concise reports to security management, outlining operational change, efficiencies identified and how the security team are collectively protecting colleagues, guests and our assets
Requirements
- Previous security experience, preferably in a hospitality or retail environment + 2 years as a minimum
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret and present findings
- Proactively investigate root causes of loss using data mining skills
- Experience with EPOS systems desirable
- Excellent time management, organisation and the ability to work to tight deadlines
- Excellent IT and Reporting skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
