As a DevOps Engineer you’ll be part of an extremely agile team of engineers working with all the pieces of a system. From writing code to spin up cloud infrastructures to driving root cause analysis, all while making sure you have fun learning and building things.
This is a remote opportunity with national and international expected travelling according to project/client needs: 0-20% estimated.
Requirements
You rock at- One or more programming language such as Python, GO, Java or Javascript
- Roaming around a Unix system and pinpointing problem root causes
- Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn with and teach others
- Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose
You are good at
- Understanding how the Internet and Web applications work over and under the hood
- Highly scalable/transactional systems and infrastructures
- Metrics, graphs and everything around monitoring
- Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
- Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
- Configuration management frameworks such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
- Managing NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch
- Writing code to make computers do things for you
