This role will involve directly working with brilliant people, who care about what they do, as well as helping steer a 30 person team in London as it grows to 100+ around the world over the next couple of years.

Feast It is using technology to build a better global events industry.

We’ve built a curated platform connecting the best suppliers to the most exciting events, from dinner parties for 20, to nationwide virtual events for 2,000, and right up to the UK’s most famous festivals. We believe that every event deserves incredible food, drink, and entertainment and we are building the technology to unlock it for everyone.

We’ve brought together an incredible community of the nation’s finest event suppliers, from independent photographers, mixologists, and florists, to the finest chefs and restaurants in the world such as Nobu, Bao, and Honest Burger. And yes, joining us means a lot of free food and tickets to events.

Only four years into our journey, our clients include everyone from Amazon, Nike and London Pride, to Tom Cruise, Star Wars and Taylor Swift. We have seen nothing but rapid growth and were named the 7th most exciting startup in the UK in 2020, were finalists in the 2019 Natwest Entrepreneur Awards, have been featured in pretty much every major publication including; The Guardian, The Times, Techcrunch, The FT and have been named in the top 15 in Tempo’s 50 Best Places to Work. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with experience of scaling high-performing teams, creating the best people processes and fostering engaging cultures in diverse teams. As our first people hire, you will be excited by the prospect of a multi-hatted HR role, working with amazing people and solving problems in a creative way.

We are looking for a Head of Talent amp; People who is laser-focused on enabling the business to deliver at scale, establishing an innovative and agile culture of high performance, and developing a pool of exceptional managers.

This role will report directly to our CEO, whilst working closely with our Head of Finance and our Senior Leadership team to ensure that the people framework is maintained and best in class. This person will apply a growth mindset to our people strategy, and will work to develop a culture which encourages everyone to thrive

Responsibilities will include:

People Ops

  • Designing our people function and administering systems so that we have a clear plan of how we grow all areas (operations, talent, HR) in line with our commercial goals
  • Creating a people strategy which makes people (continue to!) love working at Feast It both domestically and globally
  • Creating a training programme which means that our superstars and senior managers continue to grow, and actively coaching our key individuals

Development and culture

  • Developing a framework which incentivises and enables high performance in every team, and supports teams leaders in building and maintaining effective teams
  • Developing an employee experience which makes Feast It best in class
  • Ensuring that our commitment to diversity amp; inclusion is at the centre of all progress

Talent and performance

  • Building a brand which attracts top talent in every department and makes us recognisable as an employee-first company
