Job Description
Corin is seeking a Short Term Consignment (STC) Co-ordinator to work within the Joint Response / STC team who are responsible for the instrument sets (which are used in hip and knee implant surgeries) being set up, functionally tested, cleaned and sent back to the hospitals in a timely and effective manner. The hospitals hold our instrument sets as consignment stock so we need to ensure that we have the correct kits at the right hospitals ready for the appropriate hip or knee surgery.
This role will require you to work to high standards, procedures and processes relating to product acceptance.
Corin is based on Love Lane in Cirencester, where we design, engineer. manufacture and distribute hip and knee implants and the associated instrument kits to help the surgeon implant them.

The key responsibilities for the STC Coordinator are to:
- Use WebOps and document manage the instrument kits that move in and out of the STC area
- Make informed judgements on acceptance of stock
- Train new starters and cross-train the STC team to increase flexibility and maintain alignment.
- Work closely with the Supervisor(s) to support the daily schedules and priorities.
- Work closely with the Customer Services team on SOP/WI improvement activities.
- Support cross-training between departments when required.
- Make informed decisions on acceptance on a day-to-day basis, within the Department, Communications to the Warehouse amp; Logistics Manager and/or Warehouse Supervisor as appropriate and other stakeholders in a business.
- Review and maintain STC procedures in conjunction with Warehouse amp; Logistics Manager.
- Review and maintain training matrices and audit buddy sheets to ensure ongoing competence and compliance.
- Support review and authorisation of Returned Goods Authorisation (RGA) RGA’s to Corin UK for stock, rework and scrap purposes based on the data provided via RGA documentation.
- Any other duties required by STC to support Business activities.
- Undertake other related duties as required and deemed appropriate by the Warehouse amp; Logistics Manager, including cross-department support in the Finished Goods area.
Requirements
The ideal STC Coordinator will
- A minimum qualification of GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English grade 4 or C and above
- Have worked with implants, instrument sets or healthcare / medical related equipment before
- Worked in orthopaedics, healthcare, medical field or pharmaceuticals before
- Be able to lead by example - Be patient and accommodating to different pace of learning of new starters.
- Have a good working communication skills and be able to motivate a team
