We’re doing this by ensuring that product strategy underpins everything that we do, and that our Product Managers are empowered to make decisions, in collaboration with the engineering team and other stakeholders.

Working in an Agile environment, our team helps to scope and build scalable complex systems, from consumer-facing products to internal tooling. As we move forward, we are looking to embed data-driven and problem-obsessed domain expertise into everything that we do, ensuring that product-based thinking is central to Zego’s decision making.

This role is responsible for the international expansion of our UK amp; Ireland product set to new European markets. In addition, the role will define, design, develop and deliver the suite of Insurance products and technical products to support our international customers where their needs are not met by the products and services created for the UK amp; Ireland markets. Initially our international customers are fleets of motor vehicles (ranging from cars and vans to e-scooters) and you will also help explore new customer opportunities.

Reporting initially to Zego’s Head of B2B Product (the role will report to the Chief Product Officer in time), you will at first be guiding (as dotted line reports to you) a team of Insurance Product Underwriters who are focused on delivery of country-specific services built from our UK amp; Ireland products. It is anticipated that the role will quickly grow and require the addition of technical product managers who you will directly manage, who in turn run cross-functional squads to aid the development of market-specific services that are not available in our home location.

• You will drive the commercial success and sustainability of the product set in partnership with the Head of B2B Product and the VP of International
• Overtime, you will be working with a strong engineering team, complete with a Principal Engineer acting as your main partner in the identification of the solutions for the problems that are identified and communicated as part of your product strategy
• You will focus on efficiency of the development process, looking to align International demands with those in the UK amp; Ireland to ensure we do not duplicate effort (unless absolutely necessary)
• You will guide your team of Insurance product managers, encouraging experimentation and research to deliver successful products for each international market
• You will work closely with stakeholders across other business units and, when ready, the engineering team to identify and develop new product opportunities that enhance and expand Zego’s International proposition
• You will clearly understand the entirety of our customer’s product experience, ensuring we are able to offer relevant new features, including where local nuances are necessary to gain consent and to comply with local regulations
• You will use your deep insight of product development to collaborate with other product leaders, design and engineering teams, providing strategic direction across the teams you work with
