Quality Controller
Hours Per week: 39.5
Shift Pattern: 6.45am - 2.45pm / 2.15pm - 10.15pm
Hourly Wage: 10.00 - 11.15 per hour based on experience plus shift premium on the afternoon shift

As a private label cosmetic manufacturing company, we pride ourselves in being able to create, produce, package and distribute high-end product ranges whilst maintaining long lasting relationships with our clients.
Based in our factory in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, we have over 250 people working together to produce top quality products to clients across the UK and beyond. Due to a significant increase in orders, we are looking for a Quality Controller to support our Quality Team to join our team on a permanent contract.
We’re looking for individuals with a keen eye for detail, highly dexterous and the ability to multi task with high quality output.

Key Responsibilities
To ensure production and manufacture of product is within specification, completing quality inspections in a timely manner and controlling of non-conforming product.
Key tasks: (The main activities/actions required to carry out the job).
- QC checks for each production line
- QC approval for bulk manufactured
- Inputting of data on quality system
- Liaising with various departments
- Control of quarantine stock
- Attending key meetings
- Report any anomalies to Head of Quality
- Any other relevant work which has been agreed prior with Head of Quality
Requirements
Personal characteristics
- Experience working in a manufacturing industry
- Minimum 2 years in a QC function role
- Computer literate, with ability to compile excel spread sheets and word reports
- Working with procedures and work instructions
