Opportunity to earn up to 125,000 as a Psychologist seeing face to face clients in London (based on 30 hours per week.)
Hours: 8 - 40 hours per week (please state your preference).
We require a Therapist who is available to see clients face to face in our Central London offices on Wigmore St.
Job Description
We are a well know known London Psychological Therapy clinic who requires Therapists who can see clients face to face. We will be referring both individual and couples with mild to moderate (and occasionally severe) presentation to you, this will include the full range of disorders apart from clients who you deem not suitable for therapy or who would not benefit from therapy.
If you like you can speak to new potential referrals before accepting them but this is optional.
You must:
You can see your own private clients at our clinic or outside or clinic and you can engage in any other work provided you keep us with to date with other work you engage in. If you have an NHS contract please check if there is restrictions on seeing clients within the NHS trust you work for in private practice.
Clinical supervision
You must arrange and pay for your clinical supervision yourself.
The successful candidate can choose from any of the following hours:

Can be discussed, please states your availability between 10am-10pm Monday-Sunday.
Please let us know your exact proposed hours in your application.
Additional work carried out outside these hours is optional (at the same rate of pay).
Locations: To be discussed. Please state your preferences from the following: Harley St., Wigmore St. and Earls Court.
Admin support: you will have admin support to assist you where required.

Requirements
You must completely fulfil one of the following therapeutic approaches criteria. (Please do not apply if you only partially fulfil the criteria)
1. Psychodynamic
2. Psychodynamic amp; Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
3. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy amp; one other therapeutic approach
4. Two evidence based therapeutic approaches.
In Addition to the above you must also fulfil the follow criteria:
- Can work with couples and willing to see at least one couple on their caseload at any time.
- Personality disorders, Anxiety, depression and all other difficulties that can be treated using talking therapies.
- Seeing clients with mild to moderate (and occasional severe) presentation.
- Confidence in working with clients where risk is present.
- Doctorate or postgraduate Psychologist qualification.
Accreditation Requirements of the practitioner:
- HCPC registered as a Psychologist or BABCP accredited CBT Therapist (Essential please do not apply if you do not have one of these). UKCP will be consider if you are registered with both Bupa and Axa or can offer EMDR or see couples.
Desirable
- Medico Report Legal Report Writing (Or open to being training in Medico Report Legal Report Writing by the clinic).
- Registered with Axa or Bupa
