The Thurrock Warehouse based on Eastern Avenue RM20 is our latest opening in our growing portfolio of sites in the UK. Ready to switch on the production lines in July.
Shifts
We operate a 4 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. Shifts are 6 till 6 on Days amp; Nights.
Stock Controller role
To efficiently and effectively assist the management of Stock-on site by conducting stock checks to an agreed Rota. Investigate and resolve stock related issues as required and ensure root cause analysis to prevent further occurrences.
You will act as a point of contact for stakeholders outside of the Inventory team and work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure good cross functional relationships are created and maintained.
You will continually challenge behaviours and processes to find smarter ways of working that contribute towards an efficient operation.
What you’ll do (job tasks and responsibilities)
- Conduct regular, rigorous stock counts as required and record all findings
- Support area owners with investigations and root cause analysis of stock related problems
- Complete stock adjustments via request sheets
- Working with other stakeholders to ensure an efficient internal movement of stock and high stock accuracy
- Maintain an efficient stock rotation, as well as flag any slow moving stock items
- Be the JDA super user within the area
Skills, Qualification, knowledge required:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent numerical skills
- Proven track record of solving problems in a fast paced environment
- Experience using WMS amp; stock control systems would be an advantage
- Training in this role will require travel and a short stay in Peterborough at our FC, which will be fully funded
