Job Description

We’re looking for a highly motivated and experienced Influencer and Partnerships Manager to join our growing London based Social Influence team. This team sits within the Strategy department, and reporting to the Social and Influence Director you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our existing Influencer Community for a range of exciting FMCG, lifestyle, auto and tourism clients, as well as developing strategic + creative recommendation for future campaigns. This role is well rounded, with traditional influencer outreach and relationship building being central to your day to day, but content management, trend forecasting, creative best practice and pitching opportunities all operating adjacent to it.

The candidate should be a highly interpersonal, proactive person who loves building relationships, has strong negotiation skills, and has a growth mindset. Keeping on top of the industry and sharing this knowledge is also key, but also having the drive to help the Social and Influence Director shape and scale our influencer offering.

Ideally you will have experience in an agency working (Social or PR), be well versed in influencer identification tools, and be client facing. You will also be expected to help push innovation within our agency network and selling into clients.

Responsibilities

  • Outreach and on-board existing and potential influencer partners that support our brand vision, drive growth, and add unique inventory to Depop, while uncovering levers to maintain their success on the app
  • Manage the UK influencer pipeline for all outreach and active conversations
  • Build relationships with individuals at the forefront of our pillars and pitch, plan, and execute micro-campaigns to drive awareness
  • Own paid partnership process from negotiating deliverables and contracts, right through to execution, working closely with x-functional teams when necessary
  • Track and analyse performance of influencers across various initiatives
  • Outreach and on-board existing and potential influencer partners for our client portfolio
  • Manage the influencer pipeline for all outreach and active conversations
  • Build relationships with individuals in our key client verticals, especially within the FMCG + travel space
  • Own paid and gifted partnership process from negotiating deliverables and contracts, right through to execution, working closely with client services, finance and legal to ensure we’re compliant
  • Track and analyse the performance of campaigns in partnership with our Social Analyst and Data team
  • Work with Digital Performance team to identify and execute cross posting and whitelisting opportunities
  • Be up to date on all legal compliance around gifted and paid influencer campaigns, including being very well versed in CAP code and ASA guidance
  • Manage and delegate tasks to junior team members where relevant (including issuing clear deliverables for outreach and negotiations)
  • Identify trends and use market insights to help drive influencer strategy
  • Understand and be an expert on key client demographics including relevant cultural trends and keep your finger on the pulse for key rising influencers within the UK.
  • Work with planning + strategy to develop briefs by identifying the appropriate influencers to partner to hit campaign objectives
  • Have a key eye for creative excellence and social best practice in order to be able to review and feedback on influencer content
  • Work with Social Media Managers to ensure they have all influencer content they need for any relevant organic or paid activity, recommending remix opportunities where relevant
  • Be a brand ambassador maintaining the client group’s integrity at all times and ensuring your colleagues within the Social Influence team do the same
  • Implement and advise on best practice across your client portfolio and beyond when required
  • Keep daily timesheets and follow the practices of TMW as directed

Requirements


  • Experience within influencer marketing or similar role focused on partnerships
  • Expert in devising strategic recommendation for influencers and presenting internally and to clients
  • Strong project management skills and ability to handle own workload
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to compile and analyse data and provide recommendations and learnings off the back of it
  • Motivated and outgoing individual
  • Ability to manage client expectations and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently but a strong team player
