Job Description

We are looking for an Admin Assistant to join our St Helens depot! This role is to provide accurate and effective general administrative support across all branch functions. You will be tasked with ensuring that all Branch administrative activities are carried out in the most efficient manner, within the timescales set and to the quality and standards required.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing work instructions for our field-based operations employees which are accurate and before the specified deadlines.
  • Ensuring work completion information is accurately input into company computer systems ensuring.
  • Completing regular operational reports as required by management.
  • Ensuring that records and files, both manual and computerised, are regularly updated.
  • Supporting in the testing of new systems and processes, as required.
  • Promptly providing documents and data to respond to public liability claims.
  • Providing prompt responses to telephone calls to and within the branch, ensuring that internal and external customers receive excellent customer service and co-operation at all times
  • Ensuring that security and confidentiality of all company information and property is maintained.
  • Participating in training to enhance skills level as required.

What we're looking for

  • Demonstrated good organisational and administrative skills
  • Good knowledge of working with bespoke IT systems
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication, written and orally
  • Good numeracy skills
