Job Description

Dentons is currently recruiting an Interim Lead Trainer to support the implementation of the Global Finance Transformation (GFT) Program. This position falls within the People Work stream and will report to the Interim Global Finance Transformation Training Lead. You will work closely with Global Process Leads, regional implementation and change teams as well as key business stakeholders.

This position will be responsible for leading all training aspects for the Practice Group users but working with the Finance Lead Trainer to ensure a consistent approach and user experience is delivered.

As a global team we are responsible for the creation of a framework of core training content which the regional implementation teams will adapt to their regional needs and deliver as per their own regional implementation schedules. This position will lead and manage a small team of trainers to create material and deliver a regional train the trainer program, to ensure successful training for all aspects of the new solution, both processes and systems, in readiness for end users to adopt the functionality associated with the new practice management system of 3E.

Key Responsibilities

  • Global Delivery Deliver process and systems training through a blended approach (e.g. Face to Face, Webinar, Online Learning); including Creation of a framework of core systems training content.
  • Supporting the Interim Global Finance Transformation Training Lead with:
    • Risk and Issue Management: manage risks and issues and escalate to the Global Finance Transformation Change Manager as appropriate to minimise impact to the Program. Report on qualitative and quantitative metrics in regard to training.
  • Stakeholder management collaboratewith key stakeholders and stakeholder groups to build effective and trustworthy relationships across Dentons such that all regional teams are ready and able to effectively deliver training within their regional implementations of 3E.
  • Oversight of global amp; regional practice group trainers: provide day-to-day coordination of the global and regional practice group training team resources, ensuring that team activities are aligned with the Global plans and supported by regional rollout plans. Manage all elements of the virtual training team’s approach including overseeing the training needs analysis, curriculum plans, and ensuring that the training delivery approach minimises business impacts and maximises user competence.
  • Cutover readiness: manage all training activities required to support cutover and ensure go-live readiness in line with the program timelines. Coordinate and support post Go-Live refresher training as required.
  • Post implementation assessment: develop post implementation reviews to assess the success of the training effort and enable enhancements to be identified for subsequent rollouts and projects within the Global Finance Transformation program.

  • Creation of global training materials for the 3E implementation (including any early benefit projects)
  • Creation of a global training toolkit (Quick reference guides/ e-learning etc)
  • Creation of train the trainer courses
  • Delivery of train the trainer to regional training teams
  • Supporting regional training teams to deliver end user training
  • Supporting business engagement activitie
