Job Description

Regulatory Administrator

Hours per week: 37.5 hrs per week

Contract Status: Permanent

Reporting to: Regulatory Manager

As a private label cosmetic manufacturing company, we pride ourselves in being able to create, produce, package and distribute high-end product ranges whilst maintaining long lasting relationships with our clients.

Based at our site in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, we have over 200 people working together to produce top quality products to clients across the UK and beyond. Due to a significant increase, we are seeking a Regulatory Administrator to join the Regulatory team.

The successful candidate will be an organised, confident and decisive self-starter. Strong communication skills and computer skills are essential with a keen eye for detail and driven to investigate to resolve issues.

Scientific discipline in the form of GCSE’s, A levels or equivalent are desirable but not essential and previous experience in an admin, office or data entry role advantage. Full induction and training will be provided.

Job Purpose

  • Supporting Regulatory Department in daily regulatory activities
  • To provide technical help both internally and externally

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with customers on email and via phone to answer technical queries
  • Liaising with suppliers to collate technical information about raw materials
  • Updating software like Sage and Creativity with technical information
  • Checking formulations for compliance and against required criteria
  • Supporting customers with obtaining certifications for their products
  • Preparing regulatory documentation for product registrations and various customer requests
  • Liaising with New Product Development, Account Managers, Customer Services and Quality teams on daily basis regarding various projects
