QA Analyst

We are currently expanding our QA team and are looking for an experienced QA Analyst to work on a key client project.

This role will focus on functional integration testing across ZeroLight products and will require a strong QA analyst with experience working within agile teams.

This is an exciting new position to work within an experienced team of analysts as well as top automotive brands. We are happy to consider remote workers for this position.

Requirements

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible for functional integration testing of across our product stack.
• Using knowledge of front-end usability testing to ensure our UI and design deliverables meets customer expectations.
• Undertaking cross browser and mobile / device testing.
• Liaising with client on user stories and defects, especially during UAT.
• Suggesting improvements and testing areas that could be automated to ensure efficiency across delivery.
• Attend and contribute to SCRUM ceremonies including planning and stand-ups
• Work with existing QA team to push forward to quality agenda for ZeroLight
• Assisting with other QA projects when necessary.
• Collaborate in a cross-functional Agile team being familiar with principles and basic practices of Agile software development.
• Adapt existing testing experience and knowledge to Agile values and principles
• Apply relevant methods and techniques for testing in an Agile project.
• Be equally comfortable to test with user interfaces as well as APIs.
• Feed your tests in the test automation framework and contribute to automation improvements.
• Assist business stakeholders in defining understandable and testable user stories, scenarios, requirements, and acceptance criteria as appropriate.

• Strong interest or previous experience in quality assurance testing in a software environment, preferably within a Cloud environment.
• Experience with test automation is desirable, understanding the principles of automation testing is a must.
• Experience in testing via API tools such as Postman is advantageous.
• Experience in working in a SCRUM team and applying agile testing methodologies.
• Exposure to cloud services such as AWS is advantageous.
• Can show evidence of working with clients and can demonstrate professionalism.
• Knowledge of front-end usability and regression testing
• Strong technical knowledge and experience working with complex systems.
• Experience with JIRA Issue amp; Project Tracking Software is highly beneficial.
• Confident communicator as feedback will be a critical part of our QA process and pipeline.
• Able to work quickly and intuitively in a fast-paced environment with minimal support required.
