We are still a family-owned business but now we grow, process and pack a range of semi-exotic vegetables at farms and facilities around the world.

The Role:
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals, capable of working in a busy, team driven environment. Reporting to the Cell Leader, you will be working within a team inside the factory assisting with preparing, packaging, and other steps along the production process.
You will be working in a fast-moving, fresh produce production environment and in temperature-controlled conditions - usual temperatures are around 3 - 5. You will be standing on your feet for long periods of time and be tasked with occasional heavy lifting responsibilities. You will receive full training, including the Food Safety Level 2, and in-house training to include allergen control, manual handling and COSHH.
Typical duties include, but are not restricted to:
- Working on the factories busy production lines
- Wrapping and packaging fresh produce
- Sorting and grading fresh produce for quality standards
- Preparing various fresh products for labelling and dispatch
Reporting to the Cell Leaders, Operatives will be pivotal team members, working to ensure that customer standards are maintained at all times, along with a safe clean, working environment. Candidates will be required to follow set procedures and work at a fast pace, so good communication skills are essential in order to work within the team.
The Hours:
The vacancies we have are for full time, permanent positions with a fixed 12-hour shift pattern.
Day Shifts: Our factory day shift hours are either 6am to 6pm or 7am to 7pm, 4 days on/4 days off
You will receive 3 breaks during every shift amp; we have tea, coffee and food-making facilities on site, as well as various snack food machines.
Requirements
If you have previous Factory/FMCG experience, particularly in the Fresh Produce industry, we would be very keen to hear from you.
We also require individuals with the following:
- Good communication skills English Level 1 or above
- Good attention to detail
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Strong Team Player
- Able to work under pressure amp; to deadlines
- Positive attitude, Flexibility, Hard-worker
Our Location:
Our factories are based in Runcton and Pagham. We are easily accessible by car and by local public transport from Chichester, Bognor Regis and other surrounding areas. We do also have a Stagecoach bus service which we run from various locations in Portsmouth, Bersted, and Littlehampton.
