We are currently recruiting for a Spa Manager to join us at Hale Country Club and Spa, Cheshire's premier health spa. Set in the heart of Cheshire, Hale Country Club and Spa offers exclusivity, unrivalled luxury and class leading facilities. With a state-of-the-art gym, magnificent health spa and sumptuous Japanese fine dining restaurant, nowhere offers more for its members and guests.
This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate Spa Manager to join our stunning, individual country club which boasts; fantastic treatment rooms, manicure/pedicure suite, recently renovated thermal facilities and a champagne lounge. You will be responsible for leading the spa team to deliver an exceptional 5-star service and take pride in creating an unrivalled guest experience.
We have some extremely exciting plans in the pipeline for Hale Country Club and the Spa Manager role will play a vital role in helping us achieve our goals.

About the role:
- Provide hands on leadership, motivating the Spa team to deliver a 5 star luxury service, consistently going above and beyond guest expectations
- Drive the member and guest journey, mapping out what exceptional looks like and training the team to deliver
- Work with the ESPA team, managing the rollout of new product/treatment launches and team training
- Manage the Spa Reception, offering treatment information by phone/email and booking appointments
- Carry out tours of the spa, explaining facilities and services with existing members and spa guests
- Stay up to date with new and on-trend products/treatments, working closely with our GM to implement any new ideas
- Creation of spa packages for members and guests
- Management of the team rota
- Financial responsibility for the spa, including stock control and margins
- Be responsible for spa equipment, products and ensure the cleanliness of the reception area is kept to a high standard
- Set team and 1 2 1 objectives and manage the appraisal process
- Ensuring Hamp;S requirements are met
- Training new staff members in all aspects of treatments to the 5-star standard we require
- Attend ongoing training sessions for personal development and expand your knowledge of the brands and the business
- Oversee and manage the service in our champagne lounge
- Be a brand ambassador with expert knowledge about the brands and treatments the spa offer
- Delegating tasks to therapists and receptionists
Requirements
- Spa Management experience in a 5 star/luxury background
- Natural leadership qualities
- Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to push for continuous improvement
- Experience with ESPA, SkinCeutical and Hydra Facial advantageous
- Strong people development skills
- Effective time management skills
- Strong work ethic and optimistic attitude
- NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Equivalent
- Previous Beauty Therapy experience in a 5-star environment
