Team mission:
The QA team aims to ensure that Ripjar releases high quality software, first time, on time, every time. We work in close collaboration with software development and delivery engineers to test all changes made to our products and gradually improve our ways of working.
What you’ll be doing:
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be helping to drive forward the depth and breadth of test automation within Ripjar to allow software to be developed to a higher standard and with greater confidence.
Key tasks
- Developing new automated tests using the best tools for the job.
- Working with product owners and developers to define software requirements and ensure the software is developed with testability in mind.
- Develop a strong understanding of our software products, their purpose, and mechanics to ensure adequate test coverage at all levels.
- Work closely with the QA Lead to help improve internal processes and encourage best practices and behaviours.

- You will have the knowledge of how software is developed in a non-testing capacity.
- You will be able to develop and set up test automation software and frameworks where necessary.
- You will have proficiency in multiple programming languages (specific languages are less important than a broad programming knowledge)
- You will be well versed in the development and testing of complex software systems
- You will be comfortable working in fast paced teams
