In the Content Creator position you’ll be responsible for developing the social content for a leading automotive brand. As a social-first creative you’ll need to craft ideas that demonstrate cultural relevance and resonance, that stretch across social platforms. Additionally, our ideal candidate is a fast and flexible go-getter who jumps on new opportunities.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute creative and engaging social media strategies in collaboration with strategy and design teams to plan and develop social content
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tiktok and YouTube, adapting content to suit different channels
  • Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Dirico, ContentCal, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Asana and Olapic
  • Research and evaluate the latest trends and techniques in order to find new and better ways of measuring social media activity
  • Analyse competitor activity
  • Recommend improvements to increase performance
  • Create and publish engaging content
  • Edit, proofread and improve writers’ posts
  • Liaise with content writers to ensure brand consistency
  • Develop an editorial calendar and ensure content team is on board
  • Ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
  • Build expertise of client products, target audience, and category landscape
  • Develop creative in response to client briefs, alongside identifying proactive opportunities to develop social content that will fulfill the brand objectives
  • Present ideas comprehensively to clients and colleagues, confidently explaining and supporting your thinking
  • Amend and redevelop content in response to feedback
  • Understand performance metrics, and use them to inform future creative development
  • Be responsible for the full creative funnel, from ideation to creation of social content
  • Work alongside and support the Community Manager to react and respond to social conversations appropriately
  • Understand social platforms and trends in real time to trigger new ideas and proposals for campaigns.
  • Work as part of a global company operating as one team, and be able to successfully direct work at a distance, across teams and time zones.

Experience you already have:

  • A digital native, active across social platforms.
  • Be on top of the latest digital and social trends.
  • A passion for the automotive category.
  • 3+ years of proven work experience as a social-first creative.
  • A keen understanding of social platforms and formats, and how to optimise creative to them.
  • Experience in developing or implementing social playbooks.
  • Experience of developing exciting social executions for brands.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
  • Good knowledge of typography, image manipulation, and illustration.
  • A keen eye for visual details and accuracy.
  • A deep understanding of consumer behaviour, and adapting content plans to address the needs of the community.
  • Experience in using social analytics platforms and ability to interpret the results and implement improvements based on them
  • online community management and customer service skills to strike the balance between publicity and stimulating direct discussion with potential and actual customers
  • Speak, read and write English fluently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
