Chemical Manufacturing Process Operative x 3
Shift patterns: Continental Shift Pattern - 12 hour shifts (3 x on and 3 x off)
Hourly Rate: 10.71 - 11 per hour plus shift premium
Contract Status: Permanent
Reporting to: Manufacturing Supervisor

Based in our factory in Cleckheaton, West Yorkshire, we have over 250 people working together to produce top quality products to clients across the UK and beyond. Due to a significant increase in orders, we are looking for 3 x Chemical Manufacturing Process Operative's to join our team on a permanent contract.
We’re looking for individuals capable of working in a busy Manufacturing department who are capable of working in accordance with relevant procedures, have experience of working with chemical processing with a keen eye for detail. Highly dexterous and the ability to complete tasks with high quality output, we’re also looking for clear communication skills and a proficient use of English.

Role overview
- To support the Manufacturing Manager in delivering a 'right first time' service, whilst adhering to all company Quality, Health and Safety policies
- Ensure housekeeping and hygiene levels are maintained.
- Any other duties as required by Manufacturing Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Batch processing; Weighing, dispensing amp; mixing chemicals, using various methods amp; equipment to produce a wide range of Personal care products.
- Follow approved methods, standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice.
- Ensure all equipment is clean and sanitised before use.
- Ensure all batch documentation is completed and signed off in line with standard operating procedures.
- Carry out in process batch testing/quality tests.
- Data entry to maintain accurate stock records.
- Chemical stock control.
Requirements
Knowledge, Experience and Work Skills Needed:
- A minimum of 2 years’ Manufacturing experience of weighing amp; mixing chemicals in fast moving consumer goods environment, preferably food, personal care or pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of sage 200 would be an advantage
- A good level of Maths and English
- Computer literate, with ability to input data to excel spread sheets and word reports.
- A valid Fork Lift Truck licence
