We are excited to be expanding our Finance team in our Brighton HQ and are recruiting for an experienced Finance Transformation Manager to join us for a 12 month fixed term contract.
You will have the opportunity to make real change at MPB and help shape the future of our Finance function. Through a hands-on approach and through collaboration, this role will take the lead on process improvements, automations, system changes and integrations, and other crucial projects to improve operational processes relating to finance.
This is a varied position and some of the responsibilities will include:
- Development of finance optimisation project roadmap
- Delivery of finance systems integrations and optimisation projects
- Reviewing finance and operational processes and identifying areas for improvement
- Executing agreed improvement and optimisation plans
- Designing, communicating, and implementing scalable processes and system changes
- Business partnering and engaging with key stakeholders across the business
- Influence operational changes in the wider business to the benefit of improved financial control
Requirements
Strong technical knowledge when it comes to optimising operational finance processes, and you enjoy getting hands on to understand and evaluate how things work and deliver improvements.
Able to demonstrate experience of multiple finance improvement projects, particularly those relating to process improvements, automation and change in a high transaction volume consumer business.
ERP knowledge (ideally NetSuite) is essential and how these can be the foundation for a finance tech stack.
- Fully qualified, ideally ACA or ACCA
- Comprehensive knowledge of practical financial controls and systems, with experience of what best-in-class looks like
- Exceptional project management skills, with a determination to drive projects through to completion
- Expert organisation and planning skills
- Experience of integration and automations across the finance tech stack, through BPA, scripting and third party solutions
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent documentation skills, embracing new solutions to document processes and training
- Able to deal confidently amp; effectively with all stakeholders including the Exec team
- Comfortable having challenging conversations with people and holding them to account
- Self motivated and capable of managing amp; creating own workload
