Job Description

We are looking for a Delivery Lead to join one of our client projects. You will work within the Agile delivery teams and will play an important part in taking products from conception through to implementation. You'll be passionate for delivery and have an excellent understanding of how to define and deliver solutions collaboratively in order to achieve business outcomes and value.


You will be involved in all areas of delivery, driving continuous improvement through coaching. You'll need to be confident in challenging business requirements to ensure the teams are delivering the best possible outcome. You'll work closely with the Product Owner to understand the Backlog, help the team translate that to deliverable iterations and ensure the software is released into Production.


You'll thrive in a high-paced environment and have a focus on quality. The successful candidate will be a champion for exceptional digital experiences for our client's customers and have a focus on quality, ensuring the delivery aligns with the needs of the business.

Requirements

It would be great if you have

- Passion for building high performing, cross-functional digital teams.

- Strong understanding of cloud and microservices

- Working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, Lean and DevOps frameworks

- Excellent written and verbal communication

- An understanding of the technology stacks the teams are developing in

- Experience leading one or more agile teams and can facilitate agile events and champion agile best practice, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure they gain the most benefit from their chosen framework

- Experience building strong working relationships with other Delivery Leads and stakeholders

- Measure and analyse team performance using appropriate tools and metrics

- Experience coaching teams to implement and adopt DevOps best practices, ensuring the team has the right skillset and structure to technically be able to monitor and manage their services in production and identifying where there are gaps.

- Experience fostering an open and honest environment where achievements are celebrated and mistakes are learned from, demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence to help resolve conflicts, where necessary.

- Experience championing continuous improvement by encouraging the team to trial new techniques and ways of working to support them in their pursuit of high performance.
