Mastek is looking for an SC Cleared Technical Author to work from Corsham for one of the project in public sector.
The purpose of the role is to document the as built or as delivered solution of the programme. To collate the numerous documents, form a coherent library and produce the overview document that summarises the end-to-end solution that has been delivered .
Essential Skills required:
- A working knowledge of the processes and technology used to deliver IT service management, networks, infrastructure, hosting, telephony and associated security wraps.
- SC cleared.
- An understanding of the documentation styles required by JSP 101
- Ability to review a large volume of existing technical document and extract from those documents an overview of the end-to-end solution.
- An understanding of the level of detail that is suitable for an overview document and the ability to clearly link that overview to the supporting library of documentation.
- Self-starter and ability to work remotely without close supervision.
Desirable skills required:
- An understanding of Defence and the context in which the OSM solution has been delivered.
- A working knowledge of TOGAF or similar architectural frameworks.
