Who we are
Born in 2014, Yoti is a digital identity and biometric technology company that makes it safer for people to prove who they are. The Yoti app was designed with privacy at its core, giving people a secure way to prove their identity and share third-party credentials with organisations and other people.
Today, we have over ten million app downloads around the world. We’ve expanded our offering to a suite of business solutions that span identity verification, age verification and estimation, e-signing, AI anti-spoofing technologies and we continue to think of innovative new offerings.
From day one, we’ve been working to fix an outdated identity system. This is not a journey we make on our own but with policy advisors, think tanks, researchers, academics, humanitarian bodies, our users and everyday people. We are committed to solving identity problems through grassroots research and social purpose initiatives.
What will you do?
- You will team up with our Brand, Product, Customer Service, and Research teams to establish empathy with our users worldwide.
- You will work closely with our team of Product Owners, to help shape the roadmap with insights you gathered, tested and validated.
- You will be part of a small but growing design team of ten with whom you will collaborate with, embed and mature the design discipline at Yoti.
- You will work with our developers to ensure consistency and quality throughout the entire product range.
- You will involve stakeholders from all of the above to create well informed, thoughtful solutions for the challenges we face, using the tools you have in your belt as a designer to achieve the best results.

- Facilitate frictionless on-boarding for our business users.
- Enable users to sign documents with rich, engaging features.
- Enable users to verify who they are online.
- Improving and embedding design’s discipline into the company’s culture.
- Looking for opportunities, and coming up with product ideas.

Requirements
Your experience
- Interaction design - You are confident facing complicated interaction problems, and can come up with simple, usable and creative solutions.
- Visual skills - You have an eye for aesthetics, you care about delivering a pleasing experience on top of a usable one, by paying close attention to details.
- User research - You have involved yourself in research before, be it qualitative or quantitative. You always start from a user’s perspective and are confident looking for answers in channels necessary to end up with the best results. You document and share results within the company.
- Collaboration - You understand that great design doesn’t happen in a vacuum, you involve your stakeholders early and often. You are experienced with (or at least up for) running workshops, brainstorms and various design sessions.
- Ownership - You take initiative, and are not waiting for others to make things happen. You constantly advocate and challenge decisions. You keep track of your own time, manage and prioritise your daily work.
- Design Systems - You have experience using or building a design system to keep consistency within design and front-end throughout products.
