Your responsibilities:

As a Senior Research Associate (Market Access Writer) you will have full client-facing responsibilities and will be expected to contribute to a range of clinical evidence review and market access writing projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Literature-based clinical research: desk-based research through to semi-systematic review
  • Developing market access deliverables, including: Evidence review reports of clinical research, value dossiers, clinical sections or reimbursement dossiers for HTA bodies, abstracts and manuscripts for peer reviewed posters and academic posters for conferences
  • Project and task management (including time and workload management to ensure that deliverables are on time)
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary project team with others, including health economists, statisticians, editors and project managers to finalize client deliverables within agreed timelines
  • Contributing to proposals and other activities supporting business development



Requirements

Your skills:

We are looking for enthusiasm, vision, flexibility in approach and the desire to play a key role in our highly committed Clinical Evidence Review team.

You will need to have:

  • A relevant BSc or postgraduate qualification in biochemistry, biology, biomedical science or a closely related field
  • At least 6 months’ professional experience in market access writing, preferably in a consultancy or pharmaceutical environment
  • Technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information as a cohesive story
  • Research and analysis skills (e.g. the ability to undertake and report literature reviews to include a critical appraisal of the identified evidence)
  • Value communication skills with the ability to develop and disseminate impactful value propositions to multiple stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage projects within timelines, budget and scope
  • Proven ability to manage relationships, internally and externally
  • The ability to resolve issues and challenges

You will have a distinct advantage if you have:

  • A basic understanding of health economics and health technology assessment
  • Published work in peer-reviewed journals and at conferences
  • Client management experience
  • Familiarity with EndNote reference management software
