Job Description

We are looking to hire Senior Agile Project Managers or Agile Coaches to work on a range of client projects and manage internal processes. We will engage successful candidates on a freelance contract.

About you

You are, or you may be:

  • a qualified Agile Coach who has had proven experience embedding agile methodologies into companies
  • a certified Senior Scrum Master
  • a Senior Project Manager with experience in managing projects end to end using an agile approach, ideally with 3+ years of experience in the role
  • an expert in Agile methodologies with a combination of skills from project management to coaching
  • a proven leader in introducing and sustaining Agile approaches in a range of business environments
  • experienced in working in professional services, such as consultancy, agency research or similar field

In terms of mindset and personality, you are:

  • digitally-native, comfortable with operating in a 100% online and remote working environment, using a range of digital tools
  • commercially sharp, awareness of sales, margin, costing and commercial deal process within professional services
  • curious, hungry for knowledge and genuinely interested in opportunities within uncharted industry areas
  • a natural leader, confident in your influencing skills and ability to provide a team with spirit and guidance, to create and maintain a positive working environment

About the role

As a rapidly growing business, we are expanding our team. Our approach is to work in small, close-knit teams to deliver strategy and insight projects at speed. We need the Agile Project Manager or Coach to be able to hit the ground running, swiftly taking ownership of ongoing projects.

As an Agile Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • oversight of the projects you are working on, confidently managing client and team expectations
  • applying your in-depth understanding and knowledge of agile ways of working, to our client projects, which range from research and insights to executing on technology projects, managing sprints and regular scrum-style team meetings
  • working alongside the subject matter experts and lead strategist to ensure that internal goals and objectives are set and met
  • applying your knowledge of digital tools and processes to automate delivery where possible
  • full project cycle management from planning, designing, researching and delivery - ensuring quality is maintained through all stages. You will also play a key role in evaluating projects to continually improve processes.
  • being the pin point for communication, ensuring all parts of the team are working synchronously to meet deadlines and ensure success
  • using your impeccable time keeping and organisational skills to manage project milestones and deliver on promises to clients
  • confidently managing your team, using strategic thought leadership to overcome any challenges
  • using your leadership skills as an effective manager but also as an understanding colleague

As an Agile Coach you will be responsible for:

  • implementing scalable and relevant agile working practices to client projects and company culture so that agile becomes standard practice
  • coaching teams to understand and use agile methodologies within projects, using mentoring skills to understand learning approaches at a pace that suits individuals
  • driving continuous improvement initiatives and work in conjunction with Strategists, Operations and Transformation team members
  • using your deep understanding of agile and lean frameworks (scrum/kanban) to implement sprint cycles to current and future projects
  • providing ongoing guidance to empower teams throughout projects and in retrospectives to continually improve practice
  • applying strategic thinking to provide creative solutions to overcome obstacles


We estimate this will be between 24 and 40 hours per week, flexing up or down by mutual agreement. This will initially be a freelance contract. Though we are a flexible, fully remote working company, the applicant will need to be based in the
