If you wish to get onboard and join us in our mission, we would love to hear from you if you have: qualified teacher status, primary classroom teaching experience and up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.

How you’ll spend your day:

You will meet with your team several times a week to ideate, plan and discuss video content together.

You will be asked to make different types of video content depending on customer needs and changing demands: usually either interactive video lessons aimed at children, or engaging explainer videos to inspire our customer with fun and inventive ways to use our wonderful resources.

You will be trained how to upload your content to the Twinkl website as a resource and how to upload to our popular YouTube channels too.

Some of your time may be spent on new projects that arise working with other teams or Twinkl Partners. You will also be encouraged to link your video content ideas to trends and user needs. We are looking for passionate, innovative people who seize opportunities!

In this role, you will learn:

How to produce, edit and upload videos to our website and YouTube Channels.

You will play a part in shaping the future of this new, exciting team. You will have the opportunity to get involved with different projects and directions as this new team evolves.

You will gain an insight into the production skills for an online educational publisher.

You’ll work with:

You will be a Teacher Video Content Creator working under the Parents Team Segment, but creating content for all those who teach. The Parents Team is made up of a fun and friendly bunch of designers, illustrators, SEO copywriters, teachers and marketing assistants who are all working together with a drive to help parents, which leads to a broad range of partnership projects for Video Content Creators.

The Teacher Video Content Creator Team, in which you will work, consists of a vibrant, diverse and wonderful selection of teaching specialists, with a broader customer focus. They are experts at exploring, innovating and inspiring a love of learning and a passion for teaching. If you share this same love and passion, we would love to hear from you!

A minimum of two years UK classroom teaching experience in EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

Up-to-date knowledge of the UK National Curriculum.

You are passionate about working collaboratively and perform well working with others as part of a team.

You will be a good communicator and someone who thrives when ideating and executing on innovative projects.

To succeed in the role, you will:

Be confident to film yourself talking to a camera (quite daunting at first, we know but do not worry, we aren’t looking for squeaky clean professional studio style videos!)

You will be good fun to be around and this will show when sharing your love for teaching with our customers.

You will be organised with your workload, be able to prioritise your projects and manage your time effectively.

  • Be able to work in a flexible way, taking change in your stride.
