What will you do?

As an experienced SEO expert, the Senior SEO Manger will take a hands-on role on some of our key client accounts. You will take a leading role in the development of SEO strategies for your clients, and will perform analysis of website content, providing data-led recommendations for optimisation that will drive performance and contribute to client delight. You will be expected to lead by example to maintain a best-in-class SEO content service and embody role model behaviour in everything you do.

  • Responsible for driving SEO strategies and ensuring end-to-end implementation across key client accounts. Responsible for supporting junior members of the team to develop strategies, and you will oversee the day-to-day implementation of strategic priorities in your squad.
  • Project management of work on your assigned squad, including working closely with the squad lead on monthly task planning, delegation of tasks, ensuring adherence to agreed schedules and budgets, and proofing and QA-ing junior team members’ work to uphold quality standards across accounts.
  • Analysis of website performance, taking a data-led approach to identifying gaps and opportunities for SEO optimisation.
  • Using a range of SEO industry tools, including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, STAT and Google Analytics, to audit, analyse and provide reports around on-page content for key client accounts to assess website performance and feed into strategy priorities.
  • Creation of bespoke reports/deliverables where necessary to achieve objectives and meet client needs, including for complex or non-standard tasks.
  • Working closely with the Digital Strategy Director to identify opportunities for service development, and lead the end-to-end rollout of new initiatives.
  • Responsible for growth support activities, including the creation of assets for, and attendance at, pitches.


What will you bring?

  • Proven track record of developing and executing SEO strategies that drive client performance improvement within an agency setting.
  • Experience in leading multiple, large SEO accounts.
  • Ability to pivot and adapt client strategies in line with changing SEO landscape i.e. algorithm updates, competition, new features etc.
  • Experiencing designing and delivering SEO campaigns, with results to demonstrate impact.
  • Experience coordinating SEO activity in line with set roadmaps or strategies.
  • Experience integrating SEO with other digital marketing channels.
  • Evidence of bespoke problem solving, SEO ‘innovation’, or novel data analysis.
  • Mastery of basic SEO tooling, such as Google Search Console, rank tracking tools, and Ahrefs. Comfortable using analytics packages to enrich impact forecasts and reporting.
  • Experience communicating SEO tactics, forecasts, or results with business stakeholders. (Strong presentation skills are beneficial, but not essential.)
