Your Role

This role works closely with the marketing and technical delivery teams to facilitate new lead generation, manage new client opportunities, monitor the opportunity pipeline, ensure smooth and effective client communications on potential projects, and support the development of high-quality client pitch and proposal materials. Responsibilities may also include inside sales, new client prospecting, and key account management, as well as supporting the development of sales collateral, sales enablement materials, and sales analytics. This role will present opportunities to take on additional tasks and responsibilities in line with personal objectives, candidate aptitude, and the evolving needs of a rapidly growing organization. Responsibilities may include:

  • Fielding initial inquiries from new and existing clients about new project opportunities.
  • Briefing the technical teams about new client requests by summarizing RFPs and disseminating requests to the correct teams.
  • Managing the daily BD email communications and opportunity meeting to facilitate discussion of project scope, resourcing needs, and bidding decisions with senior management.
  • Supporting interactions between BresMed teams and potential clients by managing scoping calls, pitches, and bid defense meetings.
  • Gathering information on company capabilities and experience to inform materials development, scoping discussions and proposal writing
  • Ensuring that RFPs are responded to and that submitted proposals are followed up in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Support the development of sales collateral and sales enablement materials.
  • Assisting with sales analytics and pipeline monitoring; preparing reports for executive leadership and to inform client targeting and overall sales strategy.
  • Gathering and recording client feedback on wins/losses and overall client satisfaction.
  • Assisting with the design and execution of market research on pharmaceutical industry trends and product pipelines to identify new leads and inform BD strategy.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively managing multiple priorities requiring flexibility, creativity, and collaboration with others.
  • Strong writing skills with good spelling and grammar, and a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Superior time management and planning skills; proven ability to manage projects within timelines and scope.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced changing environment with a certain level of ambiguity.
  • Innovative thinker with a desire for continuous learning.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor of Science or Arts degree in a relevant field/
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or other commercial role.
  • Experience in a professional services, healthcare, or research focused organization, and/or experience in the biopharmaceutical industry is highly desirable.
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft office, including Excel and PowerPoint. Expertise in using CRM, marketing automation, and/or sales analytics tools is a plus.
